Rental terms and conditions

We're happy to help you with booking. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. You can contact us by email or phone. As soon your booking is completed, we will send you a confirmation and additional information.

Booking deposit

In order to secure your booking you must pay a booking deposit. As soon as the deposit is registered your contract will be effective and binding. The lodger will check that the details in the booking confirmation are valid. Booking deposit must always be paid and is not refundable for any reason! The booking deposit to secure your reservation is usually between 10 to 50% of the rental price.

Payment

There are two payment options available. Payment with credit card or by PayPal. Booking deposit includes 3.5% of payment method fee.

Security deposit

It is a common procedure that almost all apartment owners or property managers demand a security deposit to secure your booking. The deposit, as well as the terms for repayment (depending on damages occurred and additional costs as electricity and water or  final cleaning). (Please see your booking details)

Cancellation by the guest

Sometimes you have to cancel your trip. Therefore is very important to have the right kind of insurance that covers possible additional costs. The rental fees are not retuned, which emphasizes the importance of checking your insurance covering.

Cancelation by HomeinThailand

Homeinthailand is not responsible for cancelation related to circumstances beyond our control. As an example we can mention that if the apartment is sold before the beginning of the rental period Homeinthailand is obliged only to find a corresponding rental object. But this kind of cancellation happens very rarely.

Liability

The owners cannot accept any liability what´s over for death, personal injury, accidens, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused. We strongly recommend our quest to take out insurance to cover this.

Water & electricity

Please see the booking details. Please do not use the air conditioning unnecessarily and switch off when going out!

Force majeure

Following matters must be considered as force majeure, if they obstruct the fulfilling of the contract or make it unreasonably difficult: strike and all other matters that the ageing parties can´t have an affect on, such as unexpected incidents on the work force, fire, war, confiscation, currency restrictions, compensations for the duration of action of the force majeure.

The existence, reason and the expiry of the force majuere must be promptly informed to the other party by e-mail or otherwise in writing. The service provider may also inform of the force majeure on its www.pages related to the service
